SGD 2 aims to ensure food security by ending hunger, in order to improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture globally by the end of 2030, through many initiatives and targets such as ending hunger and ensuring food access by all people, eliminating all forms of malnutrition, and others.

As a health sciences institution, FCMS integrates nutrition, food safety, and community health awareness into its academic and outreach activities. Students and faculty collaborate with local health agencies to conduct nutrition counselling, maternal health sessions, and campaigns against malnutrition. The college supports sustainable food and dietary practices that enhance community wellness through research and public health programs.
