SGD 13 aims to implement urgent steps and actions to fight and manage climate change and its implications around the world by the end of 2030 through many initiatives and targets such as incorporating climate change measures into national policies, strategies, plans and procedures, achieving human and institutional capacity building by promoting education and raising awareness on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning and others.

Recognizing the impact of climate change on health, FCMS educates students on environmental health, disaster medicine, and climate resilience. The college adopts green policies, energy conservation measures, and environmental audits. FCMS actively promotes awareness about the link between planetary health and human health, encouraging climate-responsible behavior among healthcare professionals.
