How will you be assessed?
Student assessment during the master program aims to employ a program-wide approach to assessment and evaluation. The approach uses a wide range of tools and modalities in order to assess different learning outcomes and student achievements. Student progress and achievement are gauged using formative (continuous with feedback) assessments, evaluations of suitable assignments, and summative (final) assessments. Two approaches of assessment are utilized in this master program as follows:
1. Direct assessment includes:
Written assessments include, but not limited to the following:
- Multiple choice questions (MCQs; A-type questions with one best answer)
- Short-answer questions (SAQs)
- Long Essay Questions (LEQs).
- Written Assignment (evaluated by rubric)
- Oral Presentation (evaluated by rubric)
- Critical Review (evaluated by rubric)
- Research Proposal (evaluated by rubric)
Clinical assessments include, but not limited to the following:
- Portfolio including case-based discussion, assignments, students prepared presentation, professional code of conduct.
