The Master of Science in Nursing Administration (MSN Ad) offers qualified Nursing specialists with the required skills and clinical training to succeed in their endeavors to improve healthcare within the Kingdom and beyond.
The program aims to prepare future administrators (managers & leaders) in Nursing who provide safe and comprehensive evidence-based care to diverse age groups in the population. These graduates will be able to provide high standard, ethical, holistic and culture-sensitive nursing care in different areas of nursing, as well as in relevant education and research.

Student assessment during the master program aims to employ a program-wide approach to assessment and evaluation. The approach uses a wide range of tools and modalities in order to assess different learning outcomes and student achievements. Student progress and achievement are gauged using formative (continuous with feedback) assessments, evaluations of suitable assignments, and summative (final) assessments. The program prepares students for managerial positions. Nurse Specialist (Nursing administration) is the title that will be awarded by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFS) after they fulfill the required experience.

Learning is a lifelong endeavor. Nursing administration career is necessary for Nursing professionals to do their job effectively. All students are invited and encouraged to constantly meet with career counselors assigned by the Student Career and Alumni Unit (SCAU). Student career counseling is a process that helps students to know and understand their skills, abilities, and interests, and how it relates to the workplace in order to make an appropriate decision concerning their future career path. It is a dynamic and collaborative process between a faculty staff member and student, focused on the student’s needs and goals.
