SGD 14 aims to use the oceans, seas, and marine resources conservatively and sustainably, ensuring sustainable development around the world by the end of 2030 through many initiatives and targets, such as preventing all sorts of marine pollutions or significantly reducing and minimizing them, particularly from land-based activities, such as marine debris and nutrient pollution

Through environmental health and public awareness activities, FCMS advocates for the protection of marine ecosystems and water resources. Faculty-led outreach programs emphasize the effects of pollution on marine life and human health. The college promotes campaigns on plastic reduction and water conservation, supporting marine sustainability in coastal areas like Jeddah.
