As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its international scientific presence, Fakeeh College of Medical Sciences participated in the Disease Modeling and Therapeutics (DMT) 2025 Conference, hosted by Sidra Medicine in Doha under the leadership of Prof. Essam Abdelalim and Dr. Luis R. Saraiva.
The college was proudly represented by Dr. Sara Elfarrash, Associate Professor at Fakeeh College of Medical Sciencesand Principal Investigator for the AL SEHHA Project, who delivered a short oral presentation during the conference sessions.
The event gathered distinguished scientists and researchers from across the GCC, MENA region, and around the world, providing an inspiring platform for exchanging ideas and exploring potential collaborations in disease modeling and therapeutic development.
The discussions were rich and insightful, and the event was marked by a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Beyond the scientific exchange, the conference offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, build new professional relationships, and experience the dynamic spirit of Doha.
The participation served as a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration in advancing science — perfectly captured by the saying:
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
