Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences participated & represented by Dr.Sara Elfarrash in the prestigious Brain Awareness Week hosted by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in collaboration with Qatar Foundation. The event was expertly organized by Leena Ali Ibrahim and her outstanding team.
Dr.Sara took part in an engaging panel discussion focused on diverse career paths in neuroscience, as well as a series of Arabic-language lectures for public high school students, alongside Dr. Hilal Lashuel. Together, they explored the wonders and complexities of the human brain and discussed neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, aiming to raise awareness and inspire curiosity among young minds.
The event also offered a valuable opportunity to connect with the expanding neuroscience community in Saudi Arabia, exchange ideas, and engage in interactive activities—including a fascinating sensory experiment with “Miracle Berries” that altered taste perception.
Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences takes pride in this meaningful participation and remains committed to advancing scientific awareness and research in the Kingdom.
