Saudi National Day ( September, 2024 )

DESCRIPTION

Fakeeh College of Medical Sciences held a week-long celebration of the 94th Saudi National Day that was full of unity, pride, and creativity.  More than 780 students, and staff participated in special activities from September 24 to 30, 2024, which included creative visual cultural displays, engaging talks, and national competitions.  Flags and banners decorated the college, which highlighted various aspects of Saudi culture, achievements, and Vision 2030.  Students presented specific thoughts, poems, and pictures to show how much they loved the Kingdom. The celebration created a strong sense of citizenship and belonging, making it an essential and memorable celebration.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

    • To introduce the National Day, its significance, and the Kingdom's achievements.
    • To express pride in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, the holiest place on earth and the Qiblah (direction of prayer) for more than a billion Muslims, the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds.
    • To connect the National Day with the greatness of the founding and unification day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    • To introduce the unique cultural heritage of the Kingdom's regions.
