The FCMS Research Summer School (RSS) is an intensive four-week program designed to empower medical and health sciences students with foundational and advanced research skills. The program combines expert-led workshops, hands-on group projects, statistical training, and final manuscript and poster production. Open to students from all Saudi universities, it supports the vision of FCMS in nurturing healthcare professionals equipped for academic and clinical leadership.

Objectives:
Enhance students’ ability to conduct, interpret, and present medical research.
• Promote critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making.
• Provide structured mentorship and real-world data handling experience.
• Support manuscript and poster creation for academic dissemination.
• Raise community and institutional awareness of FCMS’s role in research development.
Dive into the fundamentals of research. Learn to formulate research questions using PICO, explore study designs, and draft your first proposal.
Translate ideas into action. Develop data collection tools, get introduced to biostatistics, and start working with SPSS.
Turn data into discovery. Analyze your findings, build your manuscript, and prepare to showcase your work.
Learn how to publish, polish your presentation skills, and deliver your final research poster before a panel of experts.
