The Scientific Research Workshop organized by Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences (FCMS) aimed to enhance the research competencies of academic staff and promote a strong culture of scholarly inquiry within the institution. This two-day workshop, held on October 16th and 17th, 2022, provided participants with practical insights into essential components of the research process—from data collection and statistical analysis to academic writing and publication.
Led by experienced faculty members, the sessions covered key topics including data coding, biostatistical methods, multivariate analysis, and the principles of scientific publishing. The workshop also emphasized the importance of selecting appropriate journals and developing effective academic writing skills. Through these interactive sessions, participants gained the knowledge and tools needed to design rigorous studies, analyze data effectively, and communicate research findings with clarity and impact.
