On January 21, 2025, FCMS, led by Dr. Hala Alkhadi and in collaboration with DSFH, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, and Jeddah Municipality, organized a blood donation campaign. Fourth-year MLS students educated the public on donation benefits, screened over 50 potential donors, and collected 19 donations to aid around 57 patients. The event included educational sessions, interactive games, and volunteer recognition through the Friends of Jeddah platform.
Public invitation
The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance and health benefits of blood donation, promote social solidarity, and ensure a safe, sufficient blood supply year-round to support patients, relieve suffering, and aid in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
