DESCRIPTION

As part of the community service initiatives of Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences, FCMS staff and students conducted an awareness session at the OB Clinic waiting area focusing on postpartum recovery and wellness. The session aimed to educate postpartum and pregnant women about physical and emotional changes after childbirth, and proper self-care. A brief interactive talk and visual materials were used to explain the importance of mental health and physical recovery during the postpartum period. Informative brochures were distributed, and small giveaways were offered to engage the participants and create a supportive environment.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

To raise awareness about postpartum recovery and wellness, promote physical and emotional self-care, and encourage open discussions on mental health after childbirth.
