Extracurricular activities

 Introduction

Youth constitute the main core of the community, and university students are the core of the corner stone in the education community.

Therefore, the higher education institutions seeking diversified its programs to gain access to a person owns a scientific and leadership abilities, and integrated mental, physical, psychological and social building.

The extracurricular activities qualify students to be an active participant in the community and prepare it to take the responsibility toward his/ her community. Additionally, these activities develop in students the spirit of creativity and innovation, recreation and refine their personalities as well.
These activities are designed to discover talented, creative students, prepare and develop their abilities by proper guidance and inspection.

The students will expand their knowledge in different fields and transform the theoretical studies to mastering different life skills , develop team spirit is another important gain from the extracurricular activities, the students learn how to improve their  participation in collective actions, the spirit of fair competition and the respect for practical tasks.

Students activity unit committees:

1. Scientific & Cultural Committee
2. Sports & Health Committee.
3. Social & Artistry Committee
4. Religious & Islamic Awareness Committee


Objectives of the Extra Curricular Activities Unit:

1. Supervise the exhibition of cultural, social, artistic and various activities and competitions.
2. Coordinate contacts and visits to and from the college in accordance with the established systems.
3. Supervision of lectures and workshops, and pursue its findings and recommendations.
4. Supervision of all trips and courses held at the level of student activities.
5. Participate in various awareness weeks, and seasonal events, etc.
6. Choose the best students and nominated to participate in the activities of the college and honor them at the closing ceremony.
7. Supervise the activities conducted, awareness through pamphlets and leaflets distributed different audiences.

8. Participate in national events to confirm the duty to serve the country and strengthen their feeling towards it.
9. Participate in the preparation, organization and coordination of private parties’ altogether, such as dating and farewell and graduation ceremonies.
