Dean’s Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Dr. Soliman Fakeeh College of Nursing and Medical Sciences, whose major objectives are the development of human resources, improvement of nursing and medical education programs and delivery of evidence-based health care services to individuals, families and the community. Moreover, On behalf of the administrators and faculty members of the College, I extend my warmest greetings to all men and women who would like to pursue the noble career in health Sciences, to serve mankind through the health care profession.

We offer several options towards achieving your baccalaureate degree like regular four-year, accelerated second degree, and bridging course on RN (Registered Nurse) to BSN. Currently we have a total number of 650 students who are pursuing BSc Nursing program under different streams. Recently, the Medical Laboratory Technology program has been approved by the MOHE and the college will start accepting prospective students in this program this coming academic year2010/2011. Moreover, In near future the college will add some more precious stones into its crown to bring about health care professionals who can serve efficiently in the health care field. Accordingly, in order to meet the challenges of growing technology new programs in Radiology; Physiotherapy; and Respiratory Therapy Sciences will be launched shortly.

Dr.Soliman Fakeeh College of Nursing provides benchmarking health-related Sciences education, to the budding novice students of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The programs are taught by highly qualified and well experienced faculty members with different academic backgrounds. We have separate well furnished college buildings for men and women.

We assure and excel by meeting the educational standards set by the National statutory bodies of our Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We provide clinical training and hands on experience to students, in our Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospital which has JCI & ACHSI accreditation.

Dr.SolimanFakeeh Hospital is pioneer in patient care and adopting new trends in practice and treatment.

Since the time of inception, we’ve been educating health care professionals to take on collaborative, advocacy, and leadership roles in management, education, and community health to serve the kingdom.

Our goal is to prepare nurse leaders who are excellent communicators, critical thinkers, and who use evidence-based practice to influence the future and delivery of health care. Our curriculum is developed and  reviewed frequently to ensure that programs are current, relevant and  meet accreditation  standards of  various national and international accreditation bodies.
